Kristina Sullivan

Director of Education

Kristina is Founder and Director of the Tribble School for the Performing Arts at Queensbury Theatre – having initiated the program with a goal of providing diverse arts programming and curriculum for students of all ages and backgrounds.  She works as program director, and as instructor and director in musical theatre classes of all ages throughout the year.  Additionally, she is a full time actor, performing every weekend at Houston's award winning Music Box Theater. A native to Houston, Kristina has worked for 20 years in the Houston arts community, including roles as Music Box Young Artists - Founder & Director (2012-2015); Masquerade Theatre - Tribble School Administrator (2005-2012), and Resident Company Member performing in over 50 musicals at the Hobby Center (2003-2012).  Favorite acting credits include Next to Normal (Diana), My Fair Lady (Eliza), Sunday in the Park with George (Dot/Marie), Parade (Lucille), The Man of La Mancha (Aldonza) and the title role in the national premiere of the revival of Jane Eyre.  She has directed professional and student productions with The Tribble School for the Performing Arts, Music Box Young Artists, Music Box Musicals, and Masquerade Theater, and crafted curriculum for original workshops, clinics and cabarets for adults and students. She received her BA from the University of Houston, where she studied Vocal Performance (The Moore School of Music), and Psychology.

Bethany White

Associate Director of Education

Dance Director

Ms. White began her dance training with the Jefferson Ballet Theatre in New Orleans and continued to study in programs with American Ballet Theatre and The Kirov Academy.  She moved to New York City in 2005 to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and later graduated Summa cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance through the Liberal Education for Arts Professionals (LEAP) program. While in NYC, she choreographed for national television, musical theatre, music videos, and concert dance. Ms. White was on the faculty for 5 years at Ballet Academy East, and following became the head of the Dance Department at Fordham High School for the Arts. She moved to Houston in 2015 to become the Associate Director of Education/Dance Director for the Tribble School for Performing Arts.  She also choreographed It Ain’t Nuthin but the Blues for Queensbury Theatre, for which she was nominated for Best Choreography in the 2017 Houston Press Awards.  Other choreography credits include:  Film/TV: Late Night with Seth Meyers (NBC), Diva(Short Film), Mist (Music Video); Theatre: Big River (TX), Heart of the Tin Trunk (TX), I Love You, Because (NYC), The Butterfly Girl (NYC), A New Brain (NYC). She is now the Resident Choreographer for Queensbury Theatre.

 

Jacqueline HABILI

Associate Director

Ms. Wells attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and had also studied education at the University of Houston. This is her 5th year teaching here at Tribble as a director, choreographer and head of our Tap program some of the productions including Seussical the Musical, 13 the Musical, Into the Woods, Matilda, Shrek Jr., and many more. Jacqueline began her theatre Education in the Tribble School of Performing Arts years ago and could not be any more excited to have come full circle as an instructor, or for her future here continuing her passion for music, dance, and love for teaching children.
